Knoll Lot Standards (pdf) Over the Hopewell Bridge and across from the 3.75-acre Cathcart Park lies Cathcart Knoll, a beautiful streetscape like no other. Cathcart Knoll’s lovely homes lie close to the street. Garages are located behind the homes, accessed by a convenient alley.
Cathcart Knoll lots allow you to choose a builder who will create the home that's right for you. In an effort to help demonstrate how the floor plans for homes in Cathcart Knoll will lay out on the home site, we have researched plans from national architectural firms that fit the Renwick lot standards. Below are links to these plans online. These are for informational purposes only and not an endorsement of these firms. You may choose any builder for your home; you'll need to share our Cathcart Knoll Lot Standards (pdf) with them. Cathcart Knoll homes typically are 50' wide or less as rear-loaded homes. Using these base guidelines you can search websites such as Stephen Fuller (you must be a paying member), Frank Betz, Design Basics, and Looney Ricks Kiss for plans which fall into these parameters. At the Stephen Fuller site (you will need to pay to see this plan) the Southwind (plan 269) is a master up, two-story plan. The Frank Betz site has the Brownsville, a master down two-story and the Easton, a master up two-story home. The Looney Ricks Kiss site has several alley-loaded homes that will work in the Cathcart Knoll area as well as several that could work in the Smithwood neighborhood as well. Take a look at the North Perry Bend, the Poplar Grove, and the Belvedere plans. Download Cathcart
