Parklands & Open Space
Renwick site plan
Renwick incorporates a wide variety of features to enhance greenspace and natural features. Thirty percent of the total site is dedicated to open space, whether through the central park, conservancy areas, common open space, or neighborhood parks.

At the heart of Renwick lies Cathcart Park. This 3.75-acre centrally located park is named in honor of The Cathcart Family for their many contributions to Bloomington. The park gives residents a lovely spot to stroll, jog, bike, or just relax. In addition to Cathcart Park, several pocket parks dot the landscape throughout Renwick’s neighborhoods.

In addition to the wonderful open space created by Renwick’s many parks, great strides have been taken to preserve the majority of the existing tree lines within Renwick as well. A professional arborist will care for the existing wooded areas.

The Village Center of Renwick will include urban open space, including a decorative fountain and plenty of landscaped nooks with park benches where you can enjoy a good book or a leisurely conversation with friends.
